We have all been on the verge of entrapping ourselves.

We have all said no.

We have all said yes.

SNAP!

Trapped, but not dead.

Down but not knocked-out.

His blood is sufficient to pay the penalty for every sin.

Come to Him, as His hand is reaching out for you.

Then, throw a party for your newly-forgiven-self!

Mother's Day

And a Happy Mother's Day to all!

Mothers and Fathers put their trust in God weekly,
as they bring their treasured children to Sunday School,
to learn of God's power and love.

Some Sundays, the children color,
cut,
glue
and wash their hands.



Other Sundays, the children sing,
talk,
march,
and wash their hands.



Every Sunday, they learn
to trust the Lord with all their heart
and lean not on their own understanding,
but to acknowledge Him so
He will direct their paths.

God Smells

No, God doesn't stink.
God smells.
The verb, not the adjective.

II Corinthians 2:15 & 16
For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved
and those who are perishing.
To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life.



He smells our aroma that permeates our time alone.
Time when nobody else is watching.

To what are you listening?

What are you reading?

On what are you clicking?

What are you thinking?

What are your feelings?

What is coming from your mouth?

He smells the true you.
A stench or a sweet aroma?

We Gathered

Celebrating the Son
and His sacrifice
and resurrection,
the family at Newton Christian Church
offered up praise and prayers to the Lord of Lords,



hunted resurrection eggs,



dipped a few,



and ate some marvelous brunch goodies! You know us,
we never forget the food!

So glad to have celebrated with all 319 of you!
He is risen.
He is risen, indeed!

Praise Him for His Timing

Two years in the making,
our prayers are answered!

Yes, this dirt mess and concrete
are the answer to our prayer
for more SPACE!



Thanks to our Jehovah Jireh for His provisions of space
in a timely and financially sound manner.

He is good!

Go ahead and clap wherever you are,
give Him some praise
and do a dance! The new building is on it's way!

Ready or Not?!

The change is here!
Two service schedule begins on Easter Sunday, April 4th, 2010.



A path cleared by God,
details arranged by His care,
and confirmation of His
ever-loving presence throughout the learning process.


He has answered the prayers of the family here,
to welcome those He sends our direction with open arms...
and they probably need seats, too!
That means more people to find room for!
Thus, the two service schedule will continue from April 4
til further notice or Jesus returns to welcome us to His big house!

9:15am- Praise & Worship
10:30- Connection Time
11:00- Praise & Worship

A New Connection

The family of God is bigger

than the building we gather in

to worship.

We got to meet some of the Family

with a recent visit from Victory Villages.

Bringing with the staff a beautiful crowd

of 16 young women, we were blessed

by their testimony and presence.

Enjoying an after-service dinner,

the group headed to Hutchinson for a performance of Handel's Messiah

in which a handful of the young women were performing in!

Who will Gd bring to connect with this local body of Christ next?

or two!

through the children's ministry team

to be a link in the chain of people

that led these sisters to Him.
