Quiling Ministry

In celebration of each newborn baby,
and adopted children of all ages,
the Newton Christian church family
is gifting a quilt to each breathed-blessing from God.

From the family, to the family.

Psalm 78:5-7 (New International Version)

5 He decreed statutes for Jacob
and established the law in Israel,
which he commanded our forefathers
to teach their children,

6 so the next generation would know them,
even the children yet to be born,
and they in turn would tell their children.

7 Then they would put their trust in God
and would not forget his deeds
but would keep his commands.

It's a blessing thing.

From us.

To you.

Adult Community Class

Fearless
a 6 week video study
by Max Lucado.
9:45 am in the Office Room.

Come and leave your fears at the door!

Merciful Me!

Do you hate your sin enough to give it away?

Would you throw a party and let Jesus throw the sin into the ocean?

We all know that the temptation looks so good!
We have all been on the verge of entrapping ourselves.

We have all said no.
We have all said yes.
SNAP!

Trapped, but not dead.
Down but not knocked-out.

His blood is sufficient to pay the penalty for every sin.
Come to Him, as His hand is reaching out for you.

Then, throw a party for your newly-forgiven-self!

Mother's Day

And a Happy Mother's Day to all!

Mothers and Fathers put their trust in God weekly,
as they bring their treasured children to Sunday School,
to learn of God's power and love.

Some Sundays, the children color,
cut,
glue
and wash their hands.

Other Sundays, the children sing,
talk,
march,
and wash their hands.

Every Sunday, they learn
to trust the Lord with all their heart
and lean not on their own understanding,
but to acknowledge Him so
He will direct their paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6
