Senior Fellowship

Where will you be this Wednesday?

Are you human?
Over 55?
Looking for some pals with whom
to eat,
serve
and grow in The Lord?

Join the Seniors for their luncheon at the church building
Wednesday at 11:30am!

We Gathered

Your kids enjoyed peanut butter and jelly
& hot-off-the-griddle grilled cheeses
along with cheesy chili...
thanks to some grrreat cooks in the kitchen,
we all ate well!

Once the food was consumed,
empty mouths opened and shared about
themselves with neighbors at their table.

Can you remember all the facts your neighbor shared with you?

M&M get-to-know-you...

From hobbies to travel, we know all about you, now!
Thanks for joining your family at Newton Christian
for food, fellowship and fun-facts today!

Maladjusted

January 21, 1960
This was the message from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
to many students and faculty on the local college campus
50 years ago.
"I never intend to adjust myself to the evils of segregation and discrimination..." stated King.

What evils are there in our world today that we, as Christians,
should not adjust to?

One such maladjustment of today's Christian
should be toward abortion. King's niece, Dr. Alveda King, properly titles
abortion as the new civil Rights cause.

"If we're not speaking for the voiceless,
not being strong for those who are weak,
we're not living Martin's dream," she says.

May that which breaks the heart of God, break yours.

Food For the New

Is that you?
Are you one of the new?

If you have come alongside the
family at Newton Christian to glorify God
this past year...
we want to feed you!

A get to know your new family chili luncheon
next Sunday Jan 24th after service.
You can stay in the same building,
wear the same clothes,
use the same hands you just prayed with,
and eat with us!
Our treat!

Sandwiches provided for the children,
if they frown upon chili.
If not, DIG IN,
as all ages of brothers and sisters encouraged
to join us.

What Time Is It?

You heard Pastor Doug right... it's time to
Connect 2010!
No rhymes.
No rhetoric.
No rhythm.
These words to live by this next blessed year
are straight to the point:
Get Connected!

To God.
To Family.
To a local church.

Come join us if He's pointing you in our direction.
We've been praying you'd come!
Your brothers and sisters await your arrival.

The Family

We at Newton Christian Church desire to be a model of the New Testament Church
as in the book of Acts.
Come join us as we seek to develop . . .
Families of Faith ...
Homes of Hope ...
Acts of Love.

And times of togetherness along the way!

Where Were You?

We were hoping to see you
for the Annual Meeting this past Sunday!

You missed great food...
great fellowship...
great news about the new building!

Unfortunately, the kids won't wait forever...
so the food is gone.
But the fellowship and new building
will be awaiting your next visit to
210 Southport Drive!
