Youth Group

The road is still ahead, but we're not sure where it's leading at this time.
No Middle school or High School youth group for the month of August.

Please pray that God will raise up a leader in this area.

Bittersweet.

Please continue to pray for the Davis family who lost their 14 year old daughter, Jessica, to a car accident last week.

We know that God is in control.
And we know that only God can bring a peace that passes all understanding.

Blast

The blessing of warm weather has been appreciated the last few BLAST Wednesdays. This day of good weather yielded an obstacle course during Team Building session. Even some of the volunteers got a taste of the lesson... cheer on your team, even if they are not as fast as you!

If you haven't joined in the fun yet and would like to, please pop in on a Wednesday afternoon!

BLAST is a blast!

“Oh I’m so happy to be at BLAST today!” sings and dances the children.

Learning Bible lessons, making cards, and reciting verses…all such fun id concluded with some balloon volleyball in the sanctuary.

As a special treat one of the volunteers brought take-home snacks for the children that included a yummy apple to be enjoyed…as pictured here.

Live Nativity

I'm a little delayed in getting pictures here, but the youth had a great time with the Live Nativity in December!

B.L.A.S.T.

From the lesson last week - "X marks the spot!"

This was based on the verse in
Psalm 119:72 The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

"How many points do you have from your verses challenges?"---this may be asked, and this could be a spot for the kids to check for their verse if they lose their paper...which prob never happens with elementary kids, right!?!

Don't forget BLAST on Wednesday evenings! What a great time is being had!

If you'd like to help with this wonderful ministry, please contact Jan H. or email this church blog and we'll get her in touch with you.

Don't forget that Blast starts September 17 and will be every Wednesday from 3:45-5:00pm.

There will be snacks, games, crafts, music, Bible stories, life skills, homework help and lots more!

We'd love to have your kids there. Or if you can help with this program, please contact Jan H.
