3-6pm
as we unite
the Body of Christ in worship and prayer.
Live from MacLennan Park in
Topeka, Kansas, and simulcast across the country,
including our campus
210 Southport Dr. Newton, Ks 67114.
We will cry out to God
to bring healing and restoration to our broken lives and broken nation.
With one voice, we will pray for Christ to reign down His mercy and
love and direction.
Together, we go to the heart of the nation to seek
the heart of the One who revives.
Similar to our first national gathering on April 26, 2008, we will
be calling people throughout our nation to join us on that day with
venues in every state.
If you don't accept this invite from us,
how about an invite from Gov Sam Brownback?

2012 Harvest of Love
Kick-off Time!
Throughout November and December,
the Salvation Army and the Newton Ministerial Alliance
are inviting area church families to join in our annual food
and funding drive to support people in need in Harvey County.
Please bring nonperishable food items to church
when you come for worship and other activities.
The local Salvation Army food pantry and assistance office
have seen significant increase in requests for help in the past year,
so we have a goal to meet or exceed of 30,000 pounds of food
and more than $30,000!
Each donation is a gift that makes a difference for a local resident.
Shall we give as Christ gave?
Let us give our best!
Let us give our all!
Let us do this thing together!

Fall Fellowship BBQ
We came.
We worshiped Jehovah.
We boldly petitioned His throne.
We made a joyful noise unto The Lord, our God.
We ate.
Oh, that's the drink station...and the whole hog BBQ and fixins were so good...
we ate em all before we could post a picture.
Forgive us. We did use our manners.
We did thank God before partaking...
next time we'll use the camera, too!
Stay-tuned to hear the God-stories
from your brothers and sisters
in Christ!
And get yours ready...
We know He is working!

Restoration is God's Specialty
Restoration Sunday Car Show
was a lesson of hope.
Acts 3:11-21
17 “Now, fellow Israelites, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders. 18 But this is how God fulfilled what he had foretold through all the prophets, saying that his Messiah would suffer. 19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, 20 and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. 21 Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.

was a lesson of hope.
Peter Speaks to the Onlookers
11 While the man held on to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon’s Colonnade. 12 When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go. 14 You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. 15 You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. 16 By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.17 “Now, fellow Israelites, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.

Revival
Revival:
defined by
the presence of God
Isaiah 57:15
For this is what the high and exalted One says—
he who lives forever, whose name is holy:
“I live in a high and holy place,
but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit,
to revive the spirit of the lowly
and to revive the heart of the contrite.
Beginning in you.
Beginning in your
hungry,
humble
heart.
II Chron 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Hall of Faith
Who would you induct in the Hall of Faith?
Hebrews 11:32-40
32 And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, 33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. 35 Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. 36 Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. 37 They were put to death by stoning;[a] they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— 38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.
39 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, 40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

Goodbye Summer
It has been a time of
GROWTH
and EXPANSION
both for the soul and spirit
and for the playground!
Plans are on the way to add a toddler play area to the campus.
Donors have lavished their monetary gifts with Christ's love,
and as you can see...
there are enough kids for MORE play equipment!
Goodbye Summer,
it was fun hanging out.
Blessings in the new season God is bringing!

Building with Christ in 2012
You know THIS guy,
don't you?
BOB the builder!
That's correct!
You must have children,
be one, or
blessed with GRANDCHILDREN,
like our pastor, Doug!
Welcome to the year 2012!
This is Christ's gift,
another year in Him on earth.
Proverbs 24:3
"By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established;..."
Shall we commit together to lay down our plans,
and let Christ- the- builder build our year?
What if we fail?
Is His mercy new everyday?
Can Christ fix it?
YES HE CAN!
Christ- the- builder!
